This was relitively quick, I saw the lines and I wanted to try color em. so I did. no flats so if you look hard you'll probably see a few rough edges particularly on the guys in the background but I dont think it jumps out. just quick and organic brush work and some carefully layered textures.

working on this picture was the catalyst to finally get me to take a long hard look at some of Frank Frazetta's art and I gotta say I'm really hooked. I have another more frazetta'esque conan piece coming soon (providing I finish it)
