Another coloring Of a Michael turner picture this time Wonder Woman, Strictly speaking Wonder Woman is not my favorite female character, but Michael turner could have made Rosie O'Donnell look good. errr.... maybe.
This is a fantastic piece with a lot of positive attributes to it.
The background for this piece compliments the colors of Wonder Woman remarkably well, that was a great choice.
What I like most about this piece are the strongly defined lines which make her look strong enough to be a super-hero, but no one feature is over dramatized. Occasionally you will see drawings that focus on exaggerating certain elements, and that is certainly not the case with this piece, so a huge applause for that.
She also looks lost in though, as if her conscious is weighing heavily on her. Not only does she looks strong because she is a super-hero, but she looks as if she is a strong woman as well.
The coloring job is very detailed with great attention to the details of shading as well as lighting. I particularly like how the shadow is cast on her back, it really exemplifies the detail given to the light source created in this piece.
